Gothic Cathedral Window Shelf 2 Sizes Multi Piece Build

by GetPrinted3D

It's been a while since we modeled a 3d printable wall shelf, and we've been itching to do another Gothic print. This one is inspired by centuries-old stained glass cathedral windows, with a sprinkling of Celtic and Wiccan Three Moon designs. **Multiple Pieces for Easy build with No Supports** The shelf prints out in two pieces - the Back and the Face. The back is the base and shelves. You could print just this piece and have a nice shelf. The Face is the ornamental front of the shelf. It is only 1mm thick and is meant to be glued over the top of the shelf to give it that unique ornamental look. Being two pieces, you can print the face a different color for a more striking contrast. A deep blue or purple shelf base with a black face would look especially nice. **Multiple Sizes to Suit All Prints** The model also comes in two sizes, one for large print beds (400x400) and one for standard sizes (220x220 to 256x256). Be sure to print the one that suits your bed size, rather than scaling it down. The larger file comes with Nail Holes built into the back. The smaller shelf is unable to support the same robust nail holes, so it has loops to hang over nails. If you size the large down, or the small up, these nail holes/hangers won't work properly. **DIMENSIONS** The Large Cathedral Shelf measures: X = 30.0cm (11.8in) Y = 37.5cm (14.8in) Z = 4.3cm (1.73in) The smaller shelf, at 100% scale, measures: X = 18.8cm (7.4in) Y = 23.5cm (9.3in) Z = 4.3cm (1.73in) The smaller size is designed to fit on standard size printers, but not all standard sizes are equal. the Bambu P1P, P1S and X1C have a bed size of 256x256, with a max printing area of 235x235. This is what we've sized the "Small" shelf to fit on. If you have a "standard" 235x235 printer with a max build area of 220x220, such as the Ender 3 Pro, you'll want to resize the already *Small* shelf to about **93% scale** on the X and Y. **Do not scale the Z** - leave it at 100%. Be sure to scale both the Back and Face STL files t
