Spider Web Coffin Halloween Shelf Gothic Witch Vampire Decor

by GetPrinted3D

Caskets aren't just for vampires and Halloween decorations. This Spider Coffin will spook up your end table, shelf, or mantle any time of year. Call it an inspirational piece, rendered and 3D printed in hopes of sparking the gothic witch, Wiccan, or vampire within! The piece was carefully designed to print in multiple pieces for easy building. They require no supports and no rafts. The Hand can either be printed with a 'Pause' to change filament colors, or it can be printed in a skin tone, and then painted black around the outside and beveled top edges. Whatever suits you. The list of pieces / STL files includes: - Spider Coffin - Base - Spider Coffin - Coffin - Spider Coffin - Cushion - Spider Coffin - Hand - Spider Coffin - Spider - Spider Coffin - Webs (3 pieces in 1 file) Note: The STL file 'Spider Coffin - WHOLE' is included as a preview for Cults3D and is not meant to be printed. **COLORING IDEAS** You can print each piece in whatever colors you like best. However, the hand is designed to be either printed or painted in two colors. You can use your slicer's color-changing feature (e.g. *Pause at Height* in Cura), or print the hand in a skin tone. Then go back and paint the outside and top beveled edge in black. If you're going to paint it, do so before moving on to assembly. **SPIDER WEB COFFIN ASSEMBLY** I've provided an *Assembly Instructions* image in the pictures above to simplify the build, but it's pretty straightforward. 1. The bottom of the coffin has a unique shape to it so that it fits only one way into the standing base. Glue it in place, then lay the coffin down flat. 2. Glue the cushion, bumpy side up, into the coffin. 3. Line up each spider web into its corner at the top and bottom of the coffin. Refer to the pictures to see which one goes where. Take your time lining these up. Each web end should extend all the way to the wall of the coffin (except where the hand goes). If one end is not touching the coffin wall, keep adjusting its position unti
