Fysetc Mini12864 Mount for M3D Crane
by Naomi
I upgraded from the Duet 2 Maestro to the Duet 3 Mini 5+, and unfortunately the generic LCD screen that came with the Maestro is no longer supported! Bummer. So, I had to upgrade to the Fysetc unit instead. As many mounts as there are for the Fysetc Mini 12864 screen, zero of them worked for my use case. So, why not make one? This is designed to be mounted using the stock M5 (M4?) bolts on an M3D Crane. It does NOT fit this location on Ender-based machines because it bolts directly to the two Y 2020 rails, underneath which the PSU and Duet 2 Maestro sit, just like the stock screen (pictured) does. Most Ender-style printers use a single 4040 rail. It should still be able to mount to 2020 rail with a couple of T nuts as long as you have the room and cable run for it. Do note it has zero protection on the backside, though designs other people have made will likely work for this, I just didn't need one. Print one spacer, and one faceplate. The spacer goes between the faceplate and the screen for better fitment and easier printability. Currently running a slightly-modified version of the Ultimate Duet Menu System
