Flying Model Ceiling Hanger

I designed this thing to hang up my latest Lego acquisition, the very cool “Galaxy Explorer”. I felt flying was the best way to display it, but also I had no where else for it to land.This is designed to be screwed into the ceiling and I do suggest using a longer screw so you can get sufficient purchase of the drywall above. Plaster isn't going to support any weight.I created a single loop of wire that I passed through the two grooves in the top of the part, then screwed that to the ceiling. Then it was just a matter of carefully setting the model into the loops.Printing TipsSlicer file is just for example and site metrics.
