3D Printer Puzzle

by littlewillie

Here is my design for the Make Anything Competition. It’s a self-supporting puzzle that is modeled after a 3D printer. Your goal is to construct the printer from the bottom up using only your two hands and keep it from falling as you do. It can become very frustrating since the 19 pieces that form the printer can fall very easily if not put together with proper timing but don' give up because the end result is awesome. I'm not going to post any pictures of it completed so as not to give away the answer;). It is printed support free. I printed it all at once but I will include the base plate and the pieces separately also. It took 9 hours to print on a Taz 5 printer. I used a brim for printing.
