Teufelsknoten | Devils Knot - Traditional carpenter's puzzle

by eltimbo1991

Description This puzzle was an exercise in my apprenticeship as a carpenter, which my supervisor gave me. I was able to practise precise sawing and chiseling with it. In the end, however, it is a tricky puzzle that looks cool when assembled and is a lot of fun to take apart and put together. So I modelled it for 3D printing to be able to share it with non carpenters too! Feel free to craft the components out of wood. It's a lot of fun!   Printing Designed for 0,2mm layer height.  First print out two parts as a test to check your tolerances. The parts have to fit tightly together for the puzzle to be fun! Therefore, there are two tolerance classes that you can select according to the capability of your printer. You can then fine-tune your results using the flow.     Solution: https://www.bergwelten.com/files/article/images/Zimmermannskreuz.jpg
