Twinky FPV 3D printed 1000 mm plane for DJI FPV
by SkyglideFPV
Hi to all hobbyists! Please watch this video first! Product Launch video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRKTPMU9bbI We’re rolling out a new design after few months of development and thorough testing (100+ flights, 10+ builds in different locations). The philosophy behind our models is - you can break any RC plane if you hit her hard enough. We’re making it easy to build/assembly and replace broken parts. All hardware, servos and electronics are easy to remove and install again. Sometimes on the airfield. Heavy LiOn 4s pack battery will never hit your expensive DJI air unit or camera. Use 500 mm carbon tube - it’s just a half of 1000 mm. And reuse it for other models, no need to cut it at 555 mm length and throw away when you phase out the model. We’re making our models transportable - remove/install wings just in a seconds. Magnets and servo connectors. Plug and Play. Take canopy with you to the laptop download footage and leave your plane in the hangar. Easy to print - 3mf files for Cura. Open as a project and print it - very little retracts, only when it cannot be avoided. Nice and clean build - no supports and almost no infill (heavy duty GoPro mount is exception=). I am personally in love with Twinky and hope you can enjoy it as well. On top of that we are offering STEP canopies and motor mount files so you can customise as needed for your camera or motor (it’s super flexible already) Tech Spec - [ ] Wing span: 1000 mm (detach with connectors) - [ ] Motors: from 1806 to 2807 (really big) tested. 2207 is well balanced - [ ] Printed weight: 450 g of PLA+ with PETG motor mounts - [ ] Printer Bed size: 200x200x190 (height) - [ ] Print time: 40-80 hours - [ ] Carbon spar: 6 mm x 500 mm (up to 750 mm for high speed manoeuvres - [ ] Max takeoff weight: 1,3 kg with 40 km/h stall speed - [ ] Max travel distance: 20 km with 18650/21700 4s1p battery - [ ] Go Pro (Hero 11/Naked) compatible mount on the canopy - [ ] DJI all modules compatible, tested with HDZero and analo
