Sainsmart Coreception 300 Filament Sensor Mount
by benebrady
I recently purchased a Sainsmart Coreception 300 and the way they mount the filament runout sensor causes a bit of 'drag' on the filament that causes extrusion problems at the extreme portions of the bed. I created this mount to alleviate the issue. It angles the filament over the bed instead of the extruder pulling it at 90 degrees. UPDATE: I have added an additional mount that I designed that will anchor to both sides of the 2020 extrusion and angle the filament sensor at 45 degrees toward the center of the bed to further lessen the incidence of strain on the filament by the extruder. UPDATE: I have modified the "strong" mount to allow the use of a PC4-M10 PTFE tube Bowden coupler. UPDATE 4/25/2020 I have added a new model of the filament runout sensor mount that uses DUAL PC4-M10 connectors for those people who are printing from a dry box. If you found this useful, please donate what you think it is worth to my paypal.me. Help cover the time of design. Thanks, Enjoy!
