Housing for ESP32 D1 Mini (NodeMCU)
by HKF
This design is a stacked enclosure for the ESP32 D1 Mini (NodeMCU) module and any attached shields, as offered by various suppliers. It consists of - A bottom part (called bottom) with cutouts for USB, reset button and LEDs. - a lid (top) - none, one or more stacking frames (StackFrame), depending on requirements Stack frames can be used to implement any enclosure height, depending on whether and, if so, how many shields are to be included in the enclosure. The stacking frames and the lid are simply plugged onto the base one after the other. The enclosure is especially optimized for a slim, space-saving design. That's why no screws are used, and depending on the looseness of the fit, a tesa strip may need to be wrapped around for secure closure. The design was tested with a module from AZ-Delivery, but based on verified dimensional drawings, other ESP32 D1 Mini modules should also fit.
