Bambu X1 / P1P filament y-splitter (another :-) )
by TheRealNapalm
Yes, you are right, there are already a few y-splitters for the bambu labs x1 / p1p with AMS available. Why another one? I tried a few of the available y-splitters (not all of them) and always had the same problem. When I moved the filament manually through the splitter it happened that it did not work smooth. Sorry, I don't know how to explain it, but let's sum it, as filament did not always pass the y-splitters smoothly and so it often happened that the AMS could not feed filament into the printer. As I had the same problem with 4 different y-splitters, I decided to create my own. I first tried to use PC4-M6 couplers, but did not get any satisfying results. The I created a version with PC4-M10 couplers where the PTFE tube goes through. This version works fine for me. Maybe it works for you, too. Btw, I cut it to have flat sides, so it is easy to print without supports. I also created a version where you can put 4 5x5x5 magnets in, to fix it somewhere. This is for your personal use only. Commercial use/selling is NOT allowed. If you want to sell this part commercially, contact me first. *** PLEASE **** I don not want money from you for using my design for your personal needs, but please, at least, consider pressing the 'like' button. Thank you.
