Karambit Sliding Knife and Fidget Toy
by Adage3D
Print the “TopBladeless” file instead of “Top file” if you just want the fidget toy version instead of a sharp razor. Depending on which one you build, you'll need different parts: Parts List Utility blade version: 4 x M3x16mm cap machine screws (others can be used but part is designed to lay flush with this style of screw, link after description) 2x M3x4mm cap machine screws 6x M3 Nuts 1x Standard utility blade 6x 6x3mm Magnets Bladeless Version 4 x M3x16mm cap machine screws 4x M3 Nuts 3x 6x3mm Magnets (you can use 6 if you want but it is not necessary because there will be no metal blade for the magnet to attract to when the knife is closed.) Reference the photos for hinge orientation when building. Nuts fit tight in hinge parts and blade side of knife, may require a bit of force to secure. if your having trouble, try flipping the nut around. Be sure to glue the magnets in place and let completely dry before using or else they will come loose. Also make sure that opposing magnets attract and not repel each other. Printed with 100% infill. Support the hex cutouts from underneath on the “Top” file, these are the cutouts that fit the two bolts that secure the blade (doesn't apply to the fidget only version) Also Support the very tip of the “Bottom” part, opposite the finger hole. The bottom support isn't necessary but results in the cleanest print. The depicted knives are all printed in Bambu Carbon Fiber PLA on the X1C Part links Metric machine screw assortment: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K1DV93T?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Magnets: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCXLS8QM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
