Gridfinity Heltec Lora V3(Meshtastic) case (alpha)

by SeventhSeeker

Holds a Heltec Lora32 board and a battery. Does not include any outside access to any of the buttons. STEP files and permissive license provided.Everything should print on almost any printer with no supports. Things are rather carefully designed to avoid bridging. This is an alpha release for one reason, the SMA connector can spin when overtightened, because it's designed to work with the washers in their usual places, which doesn't allow for the usual hex recess design. There is an alternate, untested version of the case. meant for use with the original battery plate, not V2, which has the hex recess. You'll need to keep any SMA washers on the outside of the box, much like other designs. For the brave beta testers only! SuppliesBlue tack or other poster puttyA hot glue gunA lora32 with the SMA cableAn optional batteryIf using a large external antenna on a thick heavy coax, I suggest a short right-angle coax jumper in between, because the cables that come with fiberglass antennas can be incredibly stiff, making mounting a hassle, and the springiness can unscrew the cable if not crazy tight.Features Supports up to the 3000mAh MakerFocus battery or similar sized battery (66mm*33mm*10.5mm)Gridfinity stackable on top and bottomLanyard hole near USB is large enough for paracordGroove on opposite side for paracord lashingAssembly Nothing on this should require any force or bending besides tightening the screw and inserting the filament pin. There is no power switch or access to buttons. Disable transmitting before swapping antennas, and only use protected batteries. Apply hot glue to the tiny coil antenna to protect it from getting broken off during assembly. Apply hot glue to strain relief the SMA side of the cable. Insert the battery, if any, into the main body. Use some Blu-Tak to prevent any sliding around and cushion any drops. Screw in the SMA connector to the housing. Connect the other end of the cable to the board.Cover the battery with the battery plate, the side
