Floatwheel Adv charging plug v2
by wavexx
An alternative version of the Floatwheel Adv/Adv pro charging plug to avoid debris and finer dust in the port. This version goes all the way in, touching the control box and entering the charging socket for a better seal. Designed/tested for TPU 98A, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height. This will not work with a stiffer material. No supports required, but slightly trickier to assemble: the plug and cylinder need to be mated as shown in the picture. The fit is intentionally tight : put one edge of the cylinder (top side in) and twist gently until the entire side has entered the plug, then apply even pressure to push the rest of the cylinder in. It helps to push the top side of the cylinder first (with the chamfered edge) and remove any elephant foot from the plug that might obstruct the insertion. A M3x5 screw also helps when inserted inside the cylinder as a push-pin to provide internal support. The plug also works as is without the cylinder if needed, and arguably still offers better dust protection than the original.
