Parkside PNKP 105 B1 Glue Gun Station for Gridfinity

by Markuzzzi

Concerning tool purchases, I make compromises when a machine or tool is not in use very often. Hence I bought a cheap glue gun from Parkside (LIDL). However, when it comes to having a tidy workplace and structured tool organization, there is no compromise to be made. ;-) I found this nice model for the Parkside PNKP 105 B1 and “gridfinitized” it. I changed the original glue gun stand slightly (e.g. I removed the Parkside text), added some cable management and placed it on a 6x2 gridfinity base. There are neither screw holes nor magnet holes - I did not consider these to be relevant given the the large size of the station. Just add an emtpy tea light candle to the dip tray to protect the station from hot glue and you are ready to go. When not in use, you can wind up the cable, fix it with e.g. velcro strips in the middle and then place it onto the two “cable towers” (see photos). Please note: When printing in PLA, depending on further settings, the little cable clip might not be strong enough to stand the pressure from the bended cable. I might make some adjustments in this regard in a later version. I assume that this model can be used for other (small) glue guns as well. As I don't know about the sizes of other guns though, feedback in the comments and makes about which guns indeed fit is appreciated.
