Pickleball Paddle
by RD Print Lab
This is v1.0 of a paddle design that can be printed on a Prusa MK3/4 print bed size (X×Y×Z, 250 × 210 × 210 mm). Materials needed:(2x) round wooden dowel, 3/8in diameter, 150mm lengthGlue/EpoxyClampsSpare wood/flat surfacesA sense of humor The only print I made so far:Material: PLANozzle/Width: 0.6mm Walls/Bottom/Top = 4Infill: 8%, gyroid The paddle didn't explode when I used it. So that's good. And it was very poppy. The ball bounced off really well and it was not any louder than the inexpensive wooden paddles I have. However, midway through the game, the sound changed and the response from the paddle was a lot more spongy. It seems the infill started to break, although the exterior looked the same. Overall, it worked. Mission success. UPDATE: The paddle did not survive past the second game. The hitting surface developed a crack that went across the face. The paddle is still playable, but I would skip this version and take a look at version 2.0.
