Version 2 - animatronic T-800 Terminator skull with face tracking
by LayerLux3D
This is my Version 2 animatronic T-800 Terminator skull. With the included instructions, you can build one too! Key Improvements from Version 1: Assembly with fasteners – No more glue required. Redesigned head tilting mechanism – A single large servo in the head replaces two servos in the base, reducing the total servo count. Improved teeth design – Newly remodeled, separate teeth for a more realistic look. New base design – Enhanced stability and aesthetics. Almost every part has been improved or adjusted, making V1 and V2 incompatible with each other. You can build the skull in two configurations: Face-tracking version – Requires a Raspberry Pi. Basic version – Moves the head randomly without face tracking. For full instructions, check them out here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/5ugx76wh74r9t7skiruvx/T800_V2_instructions_1_1.pdf?rlkey=c55n49wpw0g6wuwhfgwp4jpzw&dl=0 The Raspberry Pi image link is in the RaspberryPi_Image_Link.txt file. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Enjoy your build! If you'ed like you can check out V1 because it has among other things a different base, neck, teeth and mechanics for the neck movement. Please note that most V1 and V2 parts are not compatible! The original model was slightly too large, so I adjusted the back slightly to make it fit
