Swivel Adapter for Mag Pouch
by claytonbakerjr
Notes to changes: read below... I had several Kydex mag pouches and wanted to buy the USPSA/IPSC style for my shooting belt but I didn't want a dozen mag pouches laying around so I designed something that might help and benefit others like myself. So I created a belt mount with a built in adjustable swivel based off of a 1.5 inch belt. I used these mag pouches from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08ZCMTFRD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Additionally you will need some M4x20 screws and M4 nuts 5 each for this design. I would recommend locknuts however mine is pictured with standard nuts. In my case based off of the thickness of the belt I went with M4x20 however depending on the thickness of your belt length of the screws may vary. As pictured my 1st attempt was using a standard round column which afterwards was changed and I added more material to help support the column. As per the mounting of the mag pouches (above) this mount design will utilize the existing hardware included with the pouches (screws, threaded collars and rubber washers) Lastly you may need to use a drill to cleanup the holes depending on your printer setup, especially on the single screw that holds the swivel area together. You want it free moving so that when you adjust the angle you will not need to totally separate the 2 parts. Will be making a magnetic holder soon NOTE: Later this evening I made some changes on holes sizes, increased them a little to better facilitate the hardware. Note: 3-19-23 Since the upload of the most recent STL which BTW the changes to hole sizes worked out great. I do want to add that since I am printing these at .2 mm layer height the fitting of the teeth can be a little snug. What I am doing is finding my desired angle for the mag pouches and then I placed the 2 parts into a vice and lightly snug it up in order to help the 2 teeth sections mate up better. Maybe if one were to print this at .15 or even .1 mm the fit may not be so snug. In
