ENGLISH: Ryo Hazuki (born November 29, 1968) is the main protagonist of the Shenmue series. He is an 18-year-old Japanese boy living in Yamanose, Yokosuka, Japan. His mother died of an illness when he was 3 years old. Ryo was trained in martial arts by his father, Iwao Hazuki, since he was 7 years old.
