PTFE Tube Attachment Clip for RepRack System

by fuchsr

A small clip to attach a PTFE tube to the RepRack system, for a Bowden tube-style filament feed to your printer I am not a fan of the Prusa XL's spool holders. Instead, I'm using a filament feed from a RepRack system mounted above the printer. But I needed a way to attach the PTFE tube to the RepRack. Here is what I came up with. Fusion 360 f3d and STEP files included. Printing and Assembly Hardware required: 1x PC4-M10 pneumatic fitting (e.g., https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KHN1HWY ) 1x #6 x 5/8" (16mm) thread forming screw, as used in the RepRack system (e.g., https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GDXXMUI ) See 3mf file for parts orientation. Screw a PC4-M10 pneumatic coupler into Clip Top. Use a #6 x 5/8" thread-forming screw to attach Clip Bottom to Clip Top. Clip Bottom has a thin sacrifial layer in the screw hole, just push through it with the screw. Slide the clip onto the RepRack rail, then use Screw to tighten and secure it in place. If you like what I'm doing… …consider buying me a coffee .
