Packs 1, 2, 3 and 5 can be downloaded separately. The deployment of the Perseverance rover on Martian soil is the first of three series of Mars Sample Return missions to bring Martian samples back to Earth. The rover was launched on July 30, 2020 using an Atlas V 541. Landing took place on February 18, 2021 near the Jezero Crater. The rover also carried a flying demonstrator named Ingenuity due to make 5 flights. It made its first Martian flight on April 19, 2021, and its 72nd and final flight on January 18, 2024. I also propose a set of parts to be printed to form the complete capsule. The complete model is at 1/10th scale. Diameter 35 cm approx. Height 20 cm approx. Weight 1800grs approx. Complete model in 5 packs: - pack 1: service module (62 parts) NOT PRESENT IN THIS PACK - pack 2: top cover (26 pieces) NOT PRESENT IN THIS PACK - pack 3: flying crane (61 pieces) NOT PRESENT IN THIS PACK - pack 4: Perseverance rover with Ingenuity helicopter (128 pieces) - pack 5: heat shield (53 pieces) NOT PRESENT IN THIS PACK Two types of printer are required to print the parts: - plastic filament fusion printer (approx. 1 kg of material) - photosensitive resin curing printer. (approx. 1 kg of resin) For each part, you'll need to determine the choice of printer according to your preferences. Additional parts required: - 74 neodym magnets diameter 5mm thickness 1 mm. 28 magnets FOR THE ROVER and 46 magnets FOR THE OTHER PACKS.
