HeavyLITE XX600W WML for USPSA
by R_Germanelo
ATTENTION: This WML was modeled and designed to work with a MIL-SPEC 1913 Picatinny rail. If your pistol does not use a MIL-SPEC rail with proper clearance, modification to the end product may be necessary. If you have issue with this on your platform reach out to me and I will be more than happy to help make tweaks to get it to work. This is a weapon mounted light (WML) intended to be used for USPSA competitive shooting. This is a two-part design in which a keychain light (listed below) is inserted into the head and the body of the light can be filled with the weighted material of your choice. This is an extremely cost effective and durable alternative to commerically available expensive brass WMLs that can be produced at home. It is also makes a great dummy light in order to use in Holsters that will not work without a WML. The rear of the WML face that mates with your trigger guard is .988" from the closest edge of the rear screw hole. (see photo) My design in the photos is filled with approximately 240 grams of #6 lead shot from 2¾ shells and thinned out two-part epoxy. Required hardware: 1 - Mini Keychain Flashlight (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808999565715.html) 2 -10-24 LOW PROFILE cap screws (https://www.mcmaster.com/92220A166/) 2 - 10-24 Hex nuts (https://www.mcmaster.com/90242A326/) I DO NOT AUTHORIZE THIS DESIGN TO BE REMIXED, RESOLD, OR PRODUCED FOR PERSONAL AND/OR COMMERCIAL GAIN.
