Demogorgon Plant 3mf files for Bambu included muti color printing required, either Dual extruder or MMU is needed to print the tentacles on the bottom of the plant. Assembly… I played around with this design several times trying to get the best way to assemble all the pieces. Although most pieces are self-explanatory and easy to put together, I wanted to include some directions on how to assemble the tentacles at the base of the plant because it can get a little confusing. Each tentacle is numbered. There is a small indentation on the bottom to differentiate each one. Use the 3MF file to print the tentacles in the appropriate colors and it will save you some valuable time in assembly. Although it should be possible to print the colors separately, this will cause more confusion as the red areas are not numbered like the gray. I haven’t tried this method and don’t recommend it. Once all the pieces are printed out. I start assembly by gluing the two halves of each tentacle to one another by spreading some PLA gloop on one half pressing the two halves together, then inserting them into an area of the “planter top to plant plate” Do not glue them to the plate just yet. Inserting them into the plate is to help align the two halves together. If using PLA gloop the pieces will only have to be pressed together a few seconds then taken back out of the plate. I recommend dry fitting these into place before gluing them. Start with tentacle #1. If you notice the shape at the bottom protruding out is a small rectangle. This tentacle goes into the lonely small rectangle hole into the plate. All other numbers are in clockwise order starting here, ending with tentacle #7 being inserted into the circular hole in the plate. I found inserting #1, then #2, leaving a gap, insert #4, then going back, #3 was able to be dragged in place and inserted into the plate.
