Burton Gas Pedal for 2006 Step In Binding

by jamesbretz

It seems the plastic used for the gas pedals in this era of Burton bindings is at end-of-life and as such, crumbling to dust. After buying a deadstock pair of bindings from eBay, I was made painfully aware of this issue. After a flatbed scan and a late night in fusion, my problem was solved. I opted to integrate the ramp pad into the design, as I wanted a slightly lower pedal and didn't want to fuss with sticking the old pad back on. This is for a medium sized binding, and I am unsure of what the scaling would need to be for any other sizes. Fusion file is included if you would like to modify for your needs. This file is only the right side, please use the mirror function in your slicer to print your left side. I chose 95a TPU from overture as I have excellent results with it. Supports are required, settings for Cura tree supports are in the images. I was able to remove them with very little fuss using hemostat pliers. Print in the orientation shown in the gallery images to allow the tree supports to function correctly.
